I'm always waiting for this photo tour to Tuscany with special trepidation, for the fifth year in a row, in May, we are coming to this amazing region to photograph unique, fabulous landscapes that are especially expressive at this time of the year. Blossoming poppies, lost in the morning fog, velvet fields of wheat framed by slender cypresses ... All this looks magical in the golden rays of the setting sun. Every day, new shooting spots and new interesting landscapes will be waiting for us. We will walk along the cobbled streets of old villages, in search of the falling sunlight on the terracotta walls of the buildings, visit the ruined abbey, relax in the thermal baths and, of course, we will taste Tuscan wine.

Our main goal is photography! We will help you make the shots you have always dreamed about. For many years of trips to Tuscany, we have studied the most beautiful places in this region, as well as the specifics of the light. This is a unique chance to try your hand at landscape photography and learn new tricks and secrets.
Day 1
We meet you at Rome International airport at 14:00. Right after the meet up, we set off for the heart of Tuscany, Val d'Orcia, then meet the first fabulous town San Quirico d'Orcia. This tiny but magnificent town outlooks the valley as a medieval fortress.

We check in to our villa, have lunch and right after that we depart to our photography location and meet our first sunset. This evening will end up with a traditional Italian-style dinner and an absolute must — legendary Italian wine in Tuscany.
Day 2
The day starts early, just for being in time for unforgettable landscapes full of sun in Tuscany. This morning we'll be shooting one of the most famous and best-photographed villas in Tuscany. If the mists favor us we'll be shooting Tuscany field wrapped by it.

Right after the morning shoot we return to villa for breakfast, change out clothes and we're off to Montepulciano. We enjoy endless cheeses, wines and gourmets there. If you've never tasted pici with a wild boar ragu, it is an absolute must and you're at the right place to do so!

We are off for the sunset to another famous villa fringed with cypress trees coloured by sunsetting skies.
Day 3
Morning comes early again. We meet the first rays of the morning sun near a little church which has the best location to be pictured. It stays al alone amidst wheat lands. Nakedness of the nature makes the effect and beauty of the place even stronger. When the sun rises from behind the church it gives fabulous contre-jour light which we'll capture together.

At day we'll take on a stroll at Val d'Orcia in search for new photo locations. At sunset we come back to the very church again but take its pictures from different location.
Day 4
This day's plan includes the landmarks of the place — Tuscany landscape with its twisting road and gently rolling hills. We'll plan our visit to the outskirts of Monticchiello, famous for its rich wines, and make a city shooting.

In the evening we'll relocate to Crete Senesi to observe and enjoy its amazing views and search for new locations there.
Day 5
In the morning we'll enjoy a cup of rich Italian coffee and set off for a slender cypress trees alley where the sun rises from behind colouring the tops of the trees with its light. The alley is located in the lowland and again if mists favor us, we'll get great pictures. In the afternoon we'll go to a town which is located quite near our villa and take a stroll along its medieval streets.

The sunset this day will be quite a Gladiator type. As this was the setting for some scenes from Gladiator, an epic film with Russell Crowe. The sun embraces the green hills there with its pink rays and leaves long shades along.
Day 6
Today we may stay in bed a bit longer and let us miss the sunrise or… we may not. We'll have a discussion in photography made for the week before. After the breakfast we'll talk on photography, a post-processing techniques and discuss photos you took. I'll answer all your questions and give a session on all the details and hacks of landscape photography.

Today we may not let us miss sunset and that is why we reach out the beloved Vald'Orcia afterwards for an evening shoot.
Day 7
This is our last day. And we still have to get up right before dawn and enjoy sunrise shoot.

Upon the weather we'll decide where to go this day. Then we pack our bags and leave for Rome, it takes round 3 hours and we drop you off at the airport at 15:00.
